Becoming Planet Positive

To further demonstrate our commitment to the environment, Vokes Air UK has become a Planet Positive certified business and is now engaged in a formal programme to reduce the carbon emissions of the business based in Burnley.

Achieving Planet Positive certification is an international recognition of the highest sustainability standards. Vokes Air is following a four-step process including measurement of the company's carbon footprint, and have committed to reducing emissions by 5% per annum.

Working with Planet Positive will help us realise the changes and create a better way of doing business.”

Using the internationally recognised Planet Positive Protocol methodology, the Vokes Air UK carbon footprint for 2011 was calculated at 254 t/CO2e.
